Premiere: HHL's Part-Time MBA in The Economist Ranking
Premiere: HHL's Part-Time MBA in The Economist RankingKurzfassung: For the first time, HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management is listed in the international ranking "Executive MBA” of The Economist
[HHL gGmbH - 18.05.2015] It is the first time that HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management is listed with its part-time MBA Program within the global ranking "Executive MBA” of The Economist. HHL is one the few business schools to be placed among the top executive MBA programs with its part-time MBA Program. Normally, program participants are younger, with less leadership experience and a stronger national background than in other EMBA programs that address mostly international business leaders. The inclusion of the HHL part-time MBA in the Economist Ranking shows very clearly and positively that with this program participants have greater career opportunities and earning potential already after a short period of time.
Prof. Dr. Andreas Pinkwart, HHL Dean, says, "HHL being included in the Economist Ranking for the first time shows the extraordinary performance of our business school. It demonstrates that we are gaining ground internationally being able to compete with other business schools worldwide not only with our very successful M.Sc. Program but also increasingly with our MBA Program.”
HHL ranks 52nd within the 2015 Economist Ranking "Executive MBA” which includes 62 business schools. This ranking is one of the most extensive and important international rankings for Executive MBA Programs focusing on General Management.
It uses data from two different surveys: one with alumni from the graduate school and the second survey collects data at the schools itself. Evaluation criteria for the ranking are salary and career data as well as internationality and program structure amongst others.

The Part-Time Master in Management Program (MBA)

The classes, held in English, teach the basics of economics in combination with concrete management tools. Internationally renowned professors teach extended management skills and leadership competencies. The offer of courses focusing on 'Leadership' (Emotional Intelligence) as well as on entrepreneurship and innovation management was expanded. Moreover, the program provides the participants with excellent networking opportunities with HHL's extensive alumni network. Good to know: The tuition fees as well as all other program-related costs are fully tax-deductible as professional expenses. Moreover, HHL offers a variety of funding options.
